We invite you to join the first event in a series to discuss how Central Maryland can maximize the Central Maryland Regional Transit Plan, the region’s first long-range transit plan in more than a quarter century, to establish a new vision and strategy to transform our transit system. The Greater Washington Partnership and the Greater Baltimore Committee—in partnership with the Central Maryland Transportation Alliance, Get Maryland Moving, WTS Baltimore Chapter, and YPT Baltimore—are delighted to host Christof Spieler and Monica Tibbits-Nutt for this first event—national experts who can share best practices from successful transit planning efforts they have led around the country. Scot Spencer of The Annie E. Casey Foundation will moderate the conversation.

Our transit speaker series will feature national and regional experts, spotlight best practices in successful transit planning around the country and throughout the world, and provide insights on how we can capitalize upon Central Maryland’s long-range transit plan to meaningfully transform our transit future.
